It gives a nice overall idea of what the SAT is about

It gives a nice overall idea of what the SAT is about. I think one should begin with an SAT practice exam before using this book to help focus on the topics that one needs strengthening on. By the way, there is a misprint on page 53 in my book. For one of the pricier books out there, I was disappointed on the quality of the print.

I was expecting sets of problems that I could give to my students. This looks great for someone who needs a lot of instruction and doesn't know how to approach problems, but don't buy it for problem sets. The problems are interspersed throughout the book and most of this book is worked-out solutions to the problems.

This book is one of the best SAT math books for the new test (also, check out Dr. Jang's 1500 problem book). It has 120 problems and then an additional 120 at the end of the book. After each problem, there are at least two different ways to solve each problem. If you want to improve your math score, this is a book you should definitely get.
